34:1And Jehovah said to Moses, Hew for thyself two tables of stone like the first; and I will write upon the tables the words that were upon the first tables, which thou hast broken. 34:2And be ready for the morning, and go up in the morning to mount Sinai, and stand there before me on the top of the mountain. 34:3And let no man go up with thee, neither shall any man be seen on all the mountain; neither shall sheep and oxen feed in front of that mountain. 34:4And he hewed two tables of stone like the first; and Moses rose up early in the morning and went up to mount Sinai, as Jehovah had commanded him, and took in his hand the two tables of stone. 34:5And Jehovah came down in the cloud, and stood beside him there, and proclaimed the name of Jehovah. 34:6And Jehovah passed by before his face, and proclaimed, Jehovah, Jehovah God merciful and gracious, slow to anger, and abundant in goodness and truth, 34:7keeping mercy unto thousands, forgiving iniquity and transgression and sin, but by no means clearing [the guilty]; visiting the iniquity of the fathers upon the children, and upon the children's children, upon the third and upon the fourth [generation]. 34:8And Moses made haste, and bowed his head to the earth and worshipped, 34:9and said, If indeed I have found grace in thine eyes, Lord, let the Lord, I pray thee, go in our midst; for it is a stiff-necked people; and pardon our iniquity and our sin, and take us for an inheritance! 34:10And he said, Behold, I make a covenant: before all thy people I will do marvels that have not been done in all the earth, nor in any nation; and all the people in the midst of which thou [art] shall see the work of Jehovah; for a terrible thing it shall be that I will do with thee. 34:11Observe what I command thee this day: behold, I will drive out before thee the Amorite, and the Canaanite, and the Hittite, and the Perizzite, and the Hivite, and the Jebusite. 34:12Take heed to thyself, that thou make no covenant with the inhabitants of the land to which thou shalt come, lest it be a snare in the midst of thee; 34:13but ye shall demolish their altars, shatter their statues, and hew down their Asherahs. 34:14For thou shalt worship no other God; for Jehovah Jealous is his name is a jealous God; 34:15lest thou make a covenant with the inhabitants of the land, and then, when they go a whoring after their gods, and sacrifice unto their gods, thou be invited, and eat of their sacrifice, 34:16and thou take of their daughters unto thy sons, and their daughters go a whoring after their gods, and make thy sons go a whoring after their gods. 34:17Thou shalt make thyself no molten gods. 34:18The feast of the unleavened bread shalt thou keep: seven days shalt thou eat unleavened bread, as I have commanded thee, at the appointed time of the month Abib; for in the month Abib thou camest out from Egypt. 34:19All that openeth the womb [is] mine; and all the cattle that is born a male, the firstling of ox and sheep. 34:20But the firstling of an ass thou shalt ransom with a lamb; and if thou ransom [it] not, then shalt thou break its neck. All the first-born of thy sons thou shalt ransom; and none shall appear before me empty. 34:21Six days shalt thou work, but on the seventh day thou shalt rest; in ploughing time and in harvest thou shalt rest. 34:22And thou shalt observe the feast of weeks, of the first-fruits of wheat-harvest, and the feast of ingathering at the turn of the year. 34:23Thrice in the year shall all thy males appear before the Lord Jehovah, the God of Israel. 34:24For I will dispossess the nations before thee, and enlarge thy border, and no man shall desire thy land, when thou goest up to appear before the face of Jehovah thy God thrice in the year. 34:25Thou shalt not offer the blood of my sacrifice with leaven; neither shall the sacrifice of the feast of the passover be left over night until the morning. 34:26The first of the first-fruits of thy land shalt thou bring into the house of Jehovah thy God. Thou shalt not boil a kid in its mother's milk. 34:27And Jehovah said to Moses, Write thee these words; for after the tenor of these words have I made a covenant with thee and with Israel. 34:28And he was there with Jehovah forty days and forty nights; he ate no bread, and drank no water. And he wrote on the tables the words of the covenant, the ten words. 34:29And it came to pass, when Moses came down from mount Sinai and the two tables of testimony were in Moses' hand, when he came down from the mountain that Moses knew not that the skin of his face shone through his talking with him. 34:30And Aaron and all the children of Israel saw Moses, and behold, the skin of his face shone; and they were afraid to come near him. 34:31And Moses called to them; and they turned to him, Aaron and all the principal men of the assembly; and Moses talked with them. 34:32And afterwards, all the children of Israel came near; and he gave them in commandment all that Jehovah had spoken with him on mount Sinai. 34:33And Moses ended speaking with them; and he had put on his face a veil. 34:34And when Moses went in before Jehovah to speak with him, he took the veil off, until he came out; and he came out, and spoke to the children of Israel what he was commanded. 34:35And the children of Israel saw the face of Moses, that the skin of Moses' face shone; and Moses put the veil on his face again, until he went in to speak with him.
35:1And Moses collected all the assembly of the children of Israel, and said to them, These are the things which Jehovah has commanded, to do them. 35:2Six days shall work be done, but on the seventh day there shall be to you a holy day, a sabbath of rest to Jehovah: whoever does work on it shall be put to death. 35:3Ye shall kindle no fire throughout your dwellings upon the sabbath day. 35:4And Moses spoke to all the assembly of the children of Israel, saying, This is the word which Jehovah has commanded, saying, 35:5Take from among you a heave-offering to Jehovah: every one whose heart [is] willing, let him bring it, Jehovah's heave-offering gold, and silver, and copper, 35:6and blue, and purple, and scarlet, and byssus, and goats' [hair], 35:7and rams' skins dyed red, and badgers' skins, and acacia-wood, 35:8and oil for the light, and spices for the anointing oil, and for the incense of fragrant drugs; 35:9and onyx stones, and stones to be set for the ephod, and for the breastplate. 35:10And all who are wise-hearted among you shall come and make all that Jehovah has commanded: 35:11the tabernacle, its tent, and its covering, its clasps, and its boards, its bars, its pillars, and its bases; 35:12the ark, and its staves; the mercy-seat, and the veil of separation; 35:13the table and its staves, and all its utensils, and the shewbread; 35:14and the lamp-stand for the light, and its utensils, and its lamps, and the oil for the light; 35:15and the altar of incense, and its staves; and the anointing-oil, and the incense of fragrant drugs; and the entrance-curtain at the entrance of the tabernacle; 35:16the altar of burnt-offering, and the copper grating for it, its staves, and all its utensils; the laver and its stand; 35:17the hangings of the court, its pillars, and its bases, and the curtains of the gate of the court; 35:18the pegs of the tabernacle, and the pegs of the court, and their cords; 35:19the garments of service, to do service in the sanctuary, the holy garments for Aaron the priest, and the garments of his sons, to serve as priests. 35:20And all the assembly of the children of Israel departed from before Moses. 35:21And they came, every one whose heart moved him, and every one whose spirit prompted him; they brought Jehovah's heave-offering for the work of the tent of meeting, and for all its service, and for the holy garments. 35:22And they came, both men and women; every one who was of willing heart brought nose-rings, and earrings, and rings, and bracelets, all kinds of utensils of gold: every man that waved a wave-offering of gold to Jehovah. 35:23And every man with whom was found blue, and purple, and scarlet, and byssus, and goats' [hair], and rams' skins dyed red, and badgers' skins, brought [them]. 35:24All they that offered a heave-offering of silver and copper brought Jehovah's heave-offering. And every one with whom was found acacia-wood for all manner of work of the service, brought [it]. 35:25And every woman that was wise-hearted spun with her hands, and brought what she had spun: the blue, and the purple, and the scarlet, and the byssus. 35:26And all the women whose heart moved them in wisdom spun goats' [hair]. 35:27And the principal men brought the onyx stones, and the stones to be set, for the ephod, and for the breastplate; 35:28and the spice, and the oil for the light, and for the anointing oil, and for the incense of fragrant drugs. 35:29The children of Israel brought a voluntary offering to Jehovah, every man and woman whose heart prompted them to bring for all manner of work, which Jehovah, by the hand of Moses, had commanded to be done. 35:30And Moses said to the children of Israel, See, Jehovah has called by name Bezaleel the son of Uri, the son of Hur, of the tribe of Judah, 35:31and he has filled him with the spirit of God, in wisdom, in understanding, and in knowledge, and in all manner of workmanship, 35:32and to devise artistic things: to work in gold, and in silver, and in copper, 35:33and in cutting of stones, for setting, and in carving of wood, to execute all artistic work; 35:34and he has put in his heart to teach, he and Aholiab, the son of Ahisamach, of the tribe of Dan: 35:35he has filled them with wisdom of heart, to work all manner of work of the engraver, and of the artificer, and of the embroiderer, in blue, and in purple, in scarlet, and in byssus, and of the weaver, [even] of them that do every kind of work, and of those that devise artistic work
36:1Then wrought Bezaleel and Aholiab, and every man that was wise-hearted, in whom Jehovah had put wisdom and understanding to know how to work all manner of work of the service of the sanctuary according to all that Jehovah had commanded. 36:2And Moses called Bezaleel and Aholiab, and every man that was wise-hearted, in whose heart God had put wisdom, every one whose heart moved him to come to the work to do it. 36:3And they took from Moses every heave-offering that the children of Israel had brought for the work of the service of the sanctuary, to make it. And they still brought him voluntary offerings morning by morning. 36:4And all the wise men that wrought all the work of the sanctuary came, every man from his work which they wrought, 36:5and spoke to Moses, saying, The people bring much more than enough for the service of the work that Jehovah commanded to be done. 36:6Then Moses gave commandment, and they caused it to be proclaimed through the camp, saying, Let neither man nor woman make any more work for the heave-offering of the sanctuary! So the people were restrained from bringing; 36:7for the work they had was sufficient for all the work to do it, and it was too much. 36:8And every wise-hearted man among those that wrought the work of the tabernacle made ten curtains of twined byssus, and blue, and purple, and scarlet: [with] cherubim of artistic work did he make them. 36:9The length of one curtain was twenty-eight cubits, and the breadth of one curtain four cubits one measure for all the curtains. 36:10And he coupled five of the curtains one to another, and [the other] five curtains coupled he one to another. 36:11And he made loops of blue on the edge of one curtain at the edge of the coupling; he did likewise in the edge of the outermost curtain in the other coupling. 36:12He made fifty loops in one curtain, and he made fifty loops at the end of the curtain that was in the other coupling: the loops were opposite to one another. 36:13And he made fifty clasps of gold, and coupled the curtains together with the clasps, so that the tabernacle became one. 36:14And he made curtains of goats' [hair] for the tent over the tabernacle: eleven curtains did he make them. 36:15The length of one curtain was thirty cubits, and four cubits the breadth of one curtain one measure for the eleven curtains. 36:16And he coupled five of the curtains by themselves, and six of the curtains by themselves. 36:17And he made fifty loops on the edge of the outermost curtain in the coupling, and fifty loops made he on the edge of the curtain in the other coupling. 36:18And he made fifty clasps of copper to couple the tent, that it might be one. 36:19And he made a covering for the tent [of] rams' skins dyed red, and a covering of badgers' skins above [that]. 36:20And he made the boards for the tabernacle of acacia-wood, standing up; 36:21ten cubits the length of the boards, and one cubit and a half the breadth of one board; 36:22two tenons in one board, connected one with the other: thus did he make for all the boards of the tabernacle. 36:23And he made the boards for the tabernacle: twenty boards for the south side southward; 36:24and he made forty bases of silver under the twenty boards, two bases under one board, for its two tenons, and two bases under another board for its two tenons. 36:25And for the other side of the tabernacle, on the side toward the north, he made twenty boards, 36:26and their forty bases of silver, two bases under one board, and two bases under another board. 36:27And at the rear of the tabernacle, westward, he made six boards; 36:28and he made two boards for the corners of the tabernacle at the rear; 36:29and they were joined beneath, and were coupled together at the top thereof into one ring: thus he did to both of them in both the corners; 36:30and there were eight boards, and their silver bases: sixteen bases, under every board two bases. 36:31And he made bars of acacia-wood: five for the boards of the one side of the tabernacle, 36:32and five bars for the boards of the other side of the tabernacle, and five bars for the boards of the tabernacle at the rear, westward. 36:33And he made the middle bar in the midst of the boards reach from one end to the other. 36:34And he overlaid the boards with gold; and made their rings of gold [as] receptacles for the bars; and overlaid the bars with gold. 36:35And he made the veil of blue, and purple, and scarlet, and twined byssus: of artistic work he made it [with] cherubim. 36:36And he made four pillars of acacia[-wood] for it, and overlaid them with gold; their hooks were of gold; and he cast for them four bases of silver. 36:37And he made a curtain for the entrance of the tent of blue, and purple, and scarlet, and twined byssus, of embroidery; 36:38and its five pillars with their hooks; and he overlaid their capitals and their connecting-rods with gold; and their five bases were of copper.
37:1And Bezaleel made the ark of acacia-wood; two cubits and a half the length thereof, and a cubit and a half the breadth thereof, and a cubit and a half the height thereof. 37:2And he overlaid it with pure gold inside and outside, and made a border of gold upon it round about. 37:3And he cast for it four rings of gold, for its four corners: two rings on the one side of it, and two rings on the other side of it. 37:4And he made staves of acacia-wood and overlaid them with gold. 37:5And he put the staves into the rings on the sides of the ark, to carry the ark. 37:6And he made a mercy-seat of pure gold; two cubits and a half the length thereof, and one cubit and a half the breadth thereof. 37:7And he made two cherubim of gold; of beaten work did he make them, at the two ends of the mercy-seat; 37:8one cherub at the end of one side, and one cherub at the end of the other side; out of the mercy-seat he made the two cherubim at the two ends thereof. 37:9And the cherubim spread out [their] wings over it, covering over with their wings the mercy-seat; and their faces were opposite to one another: the faces of the cherubim were [turned] toward the mercy-seat. 37:10And he made the table of acacia-wood; two cubits the length thereof, and a cubit the breadth thereof, and a cubit and a half the height thereof. 37:11And he overlaid it with pure gold, and made upon it a border of gold round about. 37:12And he made for it a margin of a hand-breadth round about; and made a border of gold for the margin thereof round about. 37:13And he cast for it four rings of gold, and put the rings on the four corners that were on the four feet thereof. 37:14Close to the margin were the rings, as receptacles of the staves to carry the table. 37:15And he made the staves of acacia-wood, and overlaid them with gold, to carry the table. 37:16And he made the utensils that were on the table, the dishes thereof, and the cups thereof, and the bowls thereof, and the goblets with which to pour out, of pure gold. 37:17And he made the candlestick of pure gold; [of] beaten work he made the candlestick: its base, and its shaft, its cups, its knobs, and its flowers were of itself. 37:18And six branches went out of the sides thereof three branches of the candlestick out of the one side thereof, and three branches of the candlestick out of the other side thereof; 37:19[there were] three cups shaped like almonds in the one branch, a knob and a flower; and three cups shaped like almonds in the other branch, a knob and a flower: so in the six branches which went out of the candlestick. 37:20And in the candlestick were four cups, shaped like almonds, its knobs, and its flowers; 37:21and a knob under two branches thereof, and [again] a knob under two branches thereof, and [again] a knob under two branches thereof, for the six branches which went out of it. 37:22Their knobs and their branches were of itself all of one beaten work of pure gold. 37:23And he made the seven lamps thereof, and the snuffers thereof, and the snuff-trays thereof, of pure gold. 37:24Of a talent of pure gold he made it, and all its utensils. 37:25And he made the altar of incense of acacia-wood; a cubit the length thereof, and a cubit the breadth thereof, square, and two cubits the height thereof: its horns were of itself. 37:26And he overlaid it with pure gold, the top thereof, and the sides thereof round about, and the horns thereof; and made upon it a border of gold round about. 37:27And he made two rings of gold for it under its border, by its two corners, on the two sides thereof, as receptacles for the staves with which to carry it. 37:28And he made the staves of acacia-wood, and overlaid them with gold. 37:29And he made the holy anointing oil, and the pure incense of fragrant drugs, according to the work of the perfumer.
38:1And he made the altar of burnt-offering of acacia-wood; five cubits the length thereof, and five cubits the breadth thereof, square, and three cubits the height thereof. 38:2And he made its horns on the four corners thereof; its horns were of itself; and he overlaid it with copper. 38:3And he made all the utensils of the altar: the pots, and the shovels, and the bowls, the forks, and the firepans; all its utensils made he of copper. 38:4And he made for the altar a grating of network of copper under its ledge from beneath, to the very middle of it. 38:5And he cast four rings for the four corners of the grating of copper, as receptacles for the staves. 38:6And he made the staves of acacia-wood, and overlaid them with copper. 38:7And he put the staves into the rings on the sides of the altar, with which to carry it. Hollow with boards did he make it. 38:8And he made the laver of copper, and its stand of copper, of the mirrors of the crowds of women who crowded before the entrance of the tent of meeting. 38:9And he made the court. On the south side southward, the hangings of the court were of twined byssus, a hundred cubits; 38:10their pillars twenty, and their bases twenty, of copper; the hooks of the pillars and their connecting-rods of silver. 38:11And on the north side, a hundred cubits; their pillars twenty, and their bases twenty, of copper; the hooks of the pillars and their connecting-rods of silver. 38:12And on the west side, hangings of fifty cubits; their pillars ten, and their bases ten; the hooks of the pillars and their connecting-rods of silver. 38:13And for the east side, eastward, fifty cubits; 38:14the hangings on the one wing of fifteen cubits, their pillars three, and their bases three; 38:15and on the other wing, on this side as on that side of the gate of the court, hangings of fifteen cubits, their pillars three, and their bases three. 38:16All the hangings of the court round about were of twined byssus; 38:17and the bases of the pillars of copper, the hooks of the pillars and their connecting-rods of silver, and the overlaying of their capitals of silver; and all the pillars of the court were fastened together with [rods of] silver. 38:18And the curtain of the gate of the court was of embroidery of blue, and purple, and scarlet, and twined byssus; and the length was twenty cubits, and the height like the breadth, five cubits, just as the hangings of the court; 38:19and their pillars four, and their bases four, of copper; their hooks of silver, and the overlaying of their capitals and their connecting-rods of silver. 38:20And all the pegs for the tabernacle and for the court round about were of copper. 38:21These are the things numbered of the tabernacle, the tabernacle of the testimony, which were counted, according to the commandment of Moses, by the service of the Levites, under the hand of Ithamar, son of Aaron the priest. 38:22And Bezaleel the son of Uri, the son of Hur, of the tribe of Judah, made all that Jehovah had commanded Moses; 38:23and with him Aholiab, son of Ahisamach, of the tribe of Dan, an engraver and artificer, and an embroiderer in blue, and in purple, and in scarlet, and in byssus. 38:24All the gold that it took for the work in all the work of the sanctuary the gold of the wave-offering, was twenty-nine talents, and seven hundred and thirty shekels, according to the shekel of the sanctuary. 38:25And the silver of them that were numbered of the assembly was a hundred talents, and a thousand seven hundred and seventy-five shekels, according to the shekel of the sanctuary: 38:26a bekah the head half a shekel, according to the shekel of the sanctuary, for every one that passed the numbering from twenty years old and upward, [of] the six hundred and three thousand five hundred and fifty. 38:27And there were a hundred talents of silver for casting the bases of the sanctuary, and the bases of the veil; a hundred bases of a hundred talents, a talent for a base. 38:28And of the thousand seven hundred and seventy-five [shekels] he made the hooks for the pillars, and overlaid their capitals, and fastened them [with rods]. 38:29And the copper of the wave-offering was seventy talents, and two thousand four hundred shekels. 38:30And he made with it the bases for the entrance of the tent of meeting, and the copper altar, and the copper grating for it, and all the utensils of the altar. 38:31And the bases of the court round about, and the bases of the gate of the court, and all the pegs of the tabernacle, and all the pegs of the court round about.
39:1And of the blue and purple and scarlet they made garments of service, for service in the sanctuary, and made the holy garments for Aaron; as Jehovah had commanded Moses. 39:2And he made the ephod of gold, blue, and purple, and scarlet, and twined byssus. 39:3And they beat the gold into thin plates, and cut it [into] wires, to work it artistically into the blue, and into the purple, and into the scarlet, and into the byssus. 39:4They made shoulder-pieces for it, joining it: at its two ends was it joined together. 39:5And the girdle of his ephod, which was on it, was of the same, according to its work, of gold, blue, and purple, and scarlet, and twined byssus; as Jehovah had commanded Moses. 39:6And they wrought the onyx stones mounted in enclosures of gold, engraved with the engravings of a seal, according to the names of the sons of Israel. 39:7And he put them on the shoulder-pieces of the ephod, [as] stones of memorial for the children of Israel; as Jehovah had commanded Moses. 39:8And he made the breastplate of artistic work, like the work of the ephod, of gold, blue, and purple, and scarlet, and twined byssus. 39:9It was square; double did they make the breastplate, a span the length thereof, and a span the breadth thereof, doubled. 39:10And they set in it four rows of stones: [one] row, a sardoin, a topaz, and an emerald the first row; 39:11and the second row, a carbuncle, a sapphire, and a diamond; 39:12and the third row, an opal, an agate, and an amethyst; 39:13and the fourth row, a chrysolite, an onyx, and a jasper; mounted in enclosures of gold in their settings. 39:14And the stones were according to the names of the children of Israel, twelve, according to their names, engraved as a seal, every one according to his name, for the twelve tribes. 39:15And they made on the breastplate chains of laced work of wreathen work, of pure gold. 39:16And they made two settings of gold, and two gold rings, and put the two rings on the two ends of the breastplate. 39:17And they put the two wreathen [cords] of gold in the two rings on the ends of the breastplate; 39:18and the two ends of the two wreathen [cords] they fastened to the two settings, and put them on the shoulder-pieces of the ephod, on the front thereof. 39:19And they made two rings of gold, and put [them] on the two ends of the breastplate, on the border thereof, which faceth the ephod inwards. 39:20And they made two rings of gold, and put them upon the two shoulder-pieces of the ephod underneath, to the front thereof, just by the coupling thereof, above the girdle of the ephod. 39:21And they bound the breastplate with its rings to the rings of the ephod with lace of blue, that it might be above the girdle of the ephod, and that the breastplate might not be loosed from the ephod; as Jehovah had commanded Moses. 39:22And he made the cloak of the ephod of woven work, all of blue; 39:23and the opening of the cloak in its middle, as the opening of a coat of mail; a binding was round about the opening, that it should not rend. 39:24And they made on the skirts of the cloak pomegranates of blue and purple and scarlet, twined. 39:25And they made bells of pure gold, and put the bells between the pomegranates, in the skirts of the cloak, round about, between the pomegranates: 39:26a bell and a pomegranate, a bell and a pomegranate, in the skirts of the cloak round about, for service; as Jehovah had commanded Moses. 39:27And they made the vests of byssus of woven work, for Aaron, and for his sons; 39:28and the turban of byssus; and the ornamental caps, of byssus; and the linen trousers, of twined byssus; 39:29and the girdle, of twined byssus, and blue, and purple, and scarlet, of embroidery; as Jehovah had commanded Moses. 39:30And they made the thin plate, the holy diadem, of pure gold, and wrote on it with the writing of the engravings of a seal, Holiness to Jehovah! 39:31And they fastened to it a lace of blue, to fasten [it] on the turban above; as Jehovah had commanded Moses. 39:32And all the labour of the tabernacle of the tent of meeting was ended; and the children of Israel had done [it] according to all that Jehovah had commanded Moses so had they done [it]. 39:33And they brought the tabernacle to Moses the tent, and all its utensils, its clasps, its boards, its bars, and its pillars, and its bases; 39:34and the covering of rams' skins dyed red, and the covering of badgers' skins, and the veil of separation; 39:35the ark of the testimony, and its staves, and the mercy-seat; 39:36the table, all its utensils, and the shewbread; 39:37the pure candlestick, its lamps, the lamps set in order, and all its utensils, and the oil for the light; 39:38and the golden altar, and the anointing oil, and the incense of fragrant drugs; and the curtain for the entrance of the tent; 39:39the copper altar, and the copper grating that was for it, its staves and all its utensils; the laver and its stand; 39:40the hangings of the court, its pillars, and its bases; and the curtain for the gate of the court, its cords, and its pegs; and all the vessel's of service of the tabernacle, for the tent of meeting; 39:41the garments of service, for service in the sanctuary; the holy garments for Aaron the priest, and his sons' garments, to serve as priests. 39:42According to all that Jehovah had commanded Moses, so had the children of Israel done all the labour. 39:43And Moses saw all the work, and behold, they had done it as Jehovah had commanded so had they done [it]; and Moses blessed them.
40:1And Jehovah spoke to Moses, saying, 40:2On the day of the first month, on the first of the month, shalt thou set up the tabernacle of the tent of meeting. 40:3And thou shalt put in it the ark of the testimony, and shalt cover the ark with the veil. 40:4And thou shalt bring in the table, and set in order the things that are to be set in order upon it. And thou shalt bring in the candlestick and light its lamps. 40:5And thou shalt set the golden altar for the incense before the ark of the testimony; and hang up the curtain of the entrance to the tabernacle. 40:6And thou shalt set the altar of burnt-offering before the entrance of the tabernacle of the tent of meeting. 40:7And thou shalt set the laver between the tent of meeting and the altar, and shalt put water in it. 40:8And thou shalt fix the court round about, and hang up the curtain at the gate of the court. 40:9And thou shalt take the anointing oil, and anoint the tabernacle, and all that is in it, and shalt hallow it, and all its utensils; and it shall be holy. 40:10And thou shalt anoint the altar of burnt-offering, and all its utensils; and thou shalt hallow the altar, and the altar shall be most holy. 40:11And thou shalt anoint the laver and its stand, and hallow it. 40:12And thou shalt bring Aaron and his sons near, at the entrance of the tent of meeting, and bathe them with water. 40:13And thou shalt clothe Aaron with the holy garments, and anoint him, and hallow him, that he may serve me as priest. 40:14And thou shalt bring his sons near, and clothe them with vests. 40:15And thou shalt anoint them, as thou didst anoint their father, that they may serve me as priests. And their anointing shall be to them an everlasting priesthood throughout their generations. 40:16And Moses did so: as Jehovah had commanded him, so did he. 40:17And it came to pass in the first month in the second year, on the first of the month, that the tabernacle was set up. 40:18And Moses set up the tabernacle, and put in its bases, and fixed its boards, and put in its bars, and set up its pillars. 40:19And he spread the tent over the tabernacle, and put the covering of the tent above over it; as Jehovah had commanded Moses. 40:20And he took and put the testimony into the ark, and put the staves in the ark, and put the mercy-seat above on the ark. 40:21And he brought the ark into the tabernacle, and hung up the veil of separation, and covered the ark of the testimony; as Jehovah had commanded Moses. 40:22And he put the table in the tent of meeting, on the side of the tabernacle northward, outside the veil, 40:23and arranged the bread in order upon it before Jehovah; as Jehovah had commanded Moses. 40:24And he put the candlestick in the tent of meeting, opposite to the table, on the side of the tabernacle southward. 40:25And he lighted the lamps before Jehovah; as Jehovah had commanded Moses. 40:26And he put the golden altar in the tent of meeting before the veil. 40:27And he burnt on it fragrant incense; as Jehovah had commanded Moses. 40:28And he hung up the curtain of the entrance to the tabernacle. 40:29And he put the altar of burnt-offering at the entrance to the tabernacle of the tent of meeting, and offered on it the burnt-offering and the oblation; as Jehovah had commanded Moses. 40:30And he set the laver between the tent of meeting and the altar, and put water in it for washing. 40:31And Moses and Aaron and his sons washed their hands and their feet out of it: 40:32when they went into the tent of meeting, and when they drew near to the altar, they washed; as Jehovah had commanded Moses. 40:33And he set up the court round about the tabernacle and the altar, and hung up the curtain of the gate of the court. And so Moses finished the work. 40:34And the cloud covered the tent of meeting, and the glory of Jehovah filled the tabernacle. 40:35And Moses could not enter into the tent of meeting, for the cloud abode on it, and the glory of Jehovah filled the tabernacle. 40:36And when the cloud was taken up from over the tabernacle, the children of Israel journeyed in all their journeys. 40:37And if the cloud were not taken up, then they did not journey until the day that it was taken up. 40:38For the cloud of Jehovah was on the tabernacle by day, and fire was in it by night, before the eyes of all the house of Israel, throughout all their journeys.
Leviticus
1:1And Jehovah called to Moses and spoke to him out of the tent of meeting, saying, 1:2Speak unto the children of Israel and say unto them, When any man of you presenteth an offering to Jehovah, ye shall present your offering of the cattle, of the herd and of the flock. 1:3If his offering be a burnt-offering of the herd, he shall present it a male without blemish: at the entrance of the tent of meeting shall he present it, for his acceptance before Jehovah. 1:4And he shall lay his hand on the head of the burnt-offering; and it shall be accepted for him to make atonement for him. 1:5And he shall slaughter the bullock before Jehovah; and Aaron's sons, the priests, shall present the blood and sprinkle the blood round about on the altar that is at the entrance of the tent of meeting. 1:6And he shall flay the burnt-offering, and cut it up into its pieces. 1:7And the sons of Aaron the priest shall put fire on the altar, and lay wood in order on the fire; 1:8and Aaron's sons, the priests, shall lay the pieces, the head, and the fat, in order on the wood that is on the fire which is on the altar; 1:9but its inwards and its legs shall he wash in water; and the priest shall burn all on the altar, a burnt-offering, an offering by fire to Jehovah of a sweet odour. 1:10And if his offering be of the flock, of the sheep or of the goats, for a burnt-offering, he shall present it a male without blemish. 1:11And he shall slaughter it on the side of the altar northward before Jehovah; and Aaron's sons, the priests, shall sprinkle its blood on the altar round about. 1:12And he shall cut it into its pieces, and its head, and its fat; and the priest shall lay them in order on the wood that is on the fire which is on the altar; 1:13but the inwards and the legs shall he wash with water; and the priest shall present [it] all, and burn [it] on the altar: it is a burnt-offering, an offering by fire to Jehovah of a sweet odour. 1:14And if his offering to Jehovah be a burnt-offering of fowls, then he shall present his offering of turtle-doves, or of young pigeons. 1:15And the priest shall bring it near to the altar and pinch off its head and burn it on the altar; and its blood shall be pressed out at the side of the altar. 1:16And he shall remove its crop with its feathers, and cast it beside the altar on the east, into the place of the ashes; 1:17and he shall split it open at its wings, [but] shall not divide [it] asunder; and the priest shall burn it on the altar on the wood that is on the fire: it is a burnt-offering, an offering by fire to Jehovah of a sweet odour.
2:1And when any one will present an oblation to Jehovah, his offering shall be of fine flour; and he shall pour oil on it, and put frankincense thereon. 2:2And he shall bring it to Aaron's sons, the priests; and he shall take thereout his handful of the flour thereof, and of the oil thereof, with all the frankincense thereof; and the priest shall burn the memorial thereof on the altar, an offering by fire to Jehovah of a sweet odour. 2:3And the remainder of the oblation shall be Aaron's and his sons': [it is] most holy of Jehovah's offerings by fire. 2:4And if thou present an offering of an oblation baken in the oven, it shall be unleavened cakes of fine flour mingled with oil, or unleavened wafers anointed with oil. 2:5And if thine offering be an oblation [baken] on the pan, it shall be fine flour unleavened, mingled with oil. 2:6Thou shalt part it in pieces, and pour oil thereon: it is an oblation. 2:7And if thine offering be an oblation [prepared] in the cauldron, it shall be made of fine flour with oil. 2:8And thou shalt bring the oblation that is made of these things to Jehovah; and it shall be presented to the priest, and he shall bring it to the altar. 2:9And the priest shall take from the oblation a memorial thereof, and shall burn it on the altar, an offering by fire to Jehovah of a sweet odour. 2:10And the remainder of the oblation [shall be] Aaron's and his sons': [it is] most holy of Jehovah's offerings by fire. 2:11No oblation which ye shall present to Jehovah shall be made with leaven; for no leaven and no honey shall ye burn [in] any fire-offering to Jehovah. 2:12As to the offering of the first-fruits, ye shall present them to Jehovah; but they shall not be offered upon the altar for a sweet odour. 2:13And every offering of thine oblation shalt thou season with salt; neither shalt thou suffer the salt of the covenant of thy God to be lacking from thine oblation: with all thine offerings thou shalt offer salt. 2:14And if thou present an oblation of thy first-fruits to Jehovah, thou shalt present as the oblation of thy first-fruits green ears of corn roasted in fire, corn beaten out of full ears. 2:15And thou shalt put oil on it, and lay frankincense thereon: it is an oblation. 2:16And the priest shall burn the memorial thereof, [part] of the beaten corn thereof, and [part] of the oil thereof, with all the frankincense thereof: [it is] an offering by fire to Jehovah.
3:1And if his offering be a sacrifice of peace-offering, if he present [it] of the herd, whether a male or female, he shall present it without blemish before Jehovah. 3:2And he shall lay his hand on the head of his offering, and slaughter it at the entrance of the tent of meeting; and Aaron's sons, the priests, shall sprinkle the blood on the altar round about. 3:3And he shall present of the sacrifice of peace-offering an offering by fire to Jehovah; the fat that covereth the inwards, and all the fat that is on the inwards, 3:4and the two kidneys, and the fat that is on them, which is by the flanks, and the net above the liver which he shall take away as far as the kidneys; 3:5and Aaron's sons shall burn it on the altar upon the burnt-offering which [lieth] on the wood that is upon the fire: [it is] an offering by fire to Jehovah of a sweet odour. 3:6And if his offering for a sacrifice of peace-offering to Jehovah be of small cattle, male or female, he shall present it without blemish. 3:7If he present a sheep for his offering, then shall he present it before Jehovah, 3:8and shall lay his hand on the head of his offering, and slaughter it before the tent of meeting; and Aaron's sons shall sprinkle the blood thereof upon the altar round about. 3:9And he shall present of the sacrifice of peace-offering an offering by fire to Jehovah; the fat thereof, the whole fat tail, which he shall take off close by the backbone, and the fat that covereth the inwards, and all the fat that is on the inwards, 3:10and the two kidneys, and the fat that is on them, which is by the flanks, and the net above the liver which he shall take away as far as the kidneys; 3:11and the priest shall burn it on the altar: [it is] the food of the offering by fire to Jehovah. 3:12And if his offering be a goat, then he shall present it before Jehovah. 3:13And he shall lay his hand on the head of it, and slaughter it before the tent of meeting; and the sons of Aaron shall sprinkle the blood thereof on the altar round about. 3:14And he shall present thereof his offering, an offering by fire to Jehovah; the fat that covereth the inwards and all the fat that is on the inwards, 3:15and the two kidneys, and the fat that is on them, which is by the flanks, and the net above the liver which he shall take away as far as the kidneys; 3:16and the priest shall burn them on the altar: [it is] the food of the offering by fire for a sweet odour. All the fat [shall be] Jehovah's. 3:17[It is] an everlasting statute for your generations throughout all your dwellings: no fat and no blood shall ye eat.
4:1And Jehovah spoke to Moses, saying, 4:2Speak unto the children of Israel, saying, If a soul shall sin through inadvertence against any of the commandments of Jehovah [in things] that ought not to be done, and do any of them; 4:3if the priest that is anointed sin according to the trespass of the people; then for his sin which he hath sinned shall he present a young bullock without blemish to Jehovah for a sin-offering. 4:4And he shall bring the bullock to the entrance of the tent of meeting before Jehovah; and shall lay his hand on the bullock's head, and slaughter the bullock before Jehovah. 4:5And the priest that is anointed shall take of the bullock's blood, and bring it into the tent of meeting; 4:6and the priest shall dip his finger in the blood, and sprinkle of the blood seven times before Jehovah before the veil of the sanctuary; 4:7and the priest shall put of the blood on the horns of the altar of fragrant incense, which is in the tent of meeting, before Jehovah; and he shall pour all the blood of the bullock at the bottom of the altar of burnt-offering, which is at the entrance of the tent of meeting. 4:8And all the fat of the bullock of the sin-offering shall he take off from it; the fat that covereth the inwards, and all the fat that is on the inwards, 4:9and the two kidneys, and the fat that is on them, which is by the flanks, and the net above the liver which he shall take away as far as the kidneys, 4:10as it is taken off from the ox of the sacrifice of peace-offering; and the priest shall burn them on the altar of burnt-offering. 4:11And the skin of the bullock, and all its flesh, with its head, and with its legs, and its inwards, and its dung, 4:12even the whole bullock shall he carry forth outside the camp unto a clean place, where the ashes are poured out, and burn it on wood with fire; where the ashes are poured out shall it be burnt. 4:13And if the whole assembly of Israel sin inadvertently, and the thing be hid from the eyes of the congregation, and they do [somewhat against] any of all the commandments of Jehovah [in things] which should not be done, and are guilty; 4:14and the sin wherewith they have sinned against it have become known; then the congregation shall present a young bullock for the sin-offering, and shall bring it before the tent of meeting; 4:15and the elders of the assembly shall lay their hands on the head of the bullock before Jehovah; and one shall slaughter the bullock before Jehovah. 4:16And the priest that is anointed shall bring of the bullock's blood into the tent of meeting; 4:17and the priest shall dip his finger in the blood, and sprinkle it seven times before Jehovah, before the veil; 4:18and he shall put of the blood on the horns of the altar that is before Jehovah which is in the tent of meeting; and he shall pour out all the blood at the bottom of the altar of burnt-offering, which is at the entrance of the tent of meeting. 4:19And all its fat shall he take off from it and burn on the altar. 4:20And he shall do with the bullock as he did with the bullock of sin-offering: so shall he do with it. And the priest shall make atonement for them; and it shall be forgiven them. 4:21And he shall carry forth the bullock outside the camp, and burn it as he burned the first bullock: it is a sin-offering of the congregation. 4:22When a prince sinneth and through inadvertence doeth [somewhat against] any of all the commandments of Jehovah his God [in things] which should not be done, and is guilty; 4:23if his sin, wherein he hath sinned, come to his knowledge, he shall bring his offering, a buck of the goats, a male without blemish. 4:24And he shall lay his hand on the head of the goat, and slaughter it at the place where they slaughter the burnt-offering before Jehovah: it is a sin-offering. 4:25And the priest shall take of the blood of the sin-offering with his finger, and put it on the horns of the altar of burnt-offering, and shall pour out its blood at the bottom of the altar of burnt-offering. 4:26And he shall burn all its fat on the altar, as the fat of the sacrifice of peace-offering; and the priest shall make atonement for him [to cleanse him] from his sin, and it shall be forgiven him. 4:27And if any one of the people of the land sin through inadvertence, that he do [somewhat against] any of the commandments of Jehovah [in things] which should not be done, and be guilty; 4:28if his sin, which he hath sinned, come to his knowledge, then he shall bring his offering, a goat, a female without blemish, for his sin which he hath sinned. 4:29And he shall lay his hand on the head of the sin-offering, and slaughter the sin-offering at the place of the burnt-offering. 4:30And the priest shall take of the blood thereof with his finger, and put [it] on the horns of the altar of burnt-offering, and shall pour out all the blood thereof at the bottom of the altar. 4:31And he shall take away all the fat thereof, as the fat is taken away from off the sacrifice of peace-offering; and the priest shall burn it on the altar, for a sweet odour to Jehovah; and the priest shall make atonement for him, and it shall be forgiven him. 4:32And if he bring a sheep for his offering for sin, a female without blemish shall he bring it. 4:33And he shall lay his hand on the head of the sin-offering, and slaughter it for a sin-offering at the place where they slaughter the burnt-offering. 4:34And the priest shall take of the blood of the sin-offering with his finger, and put [it] on the horns of the altar of burnt-offering, and shall pour out all the blood thereof at the bottom of the altar. 4:35And he shall take away all the fat thereof, as the fat of the lamb is taken away from the sacrifice of peace-offering; and the priest shall burn them on the altar, with Jehovah's offerings by fire; and the priest shall make atonement for him concerning his sin which he hath sinned, and it shall be forgiven him.
5:1And if any one sin, and hear the voice of adjuration, and he is a witness whether he hath seen or known [it], if he do not give information, then he shall bear his iniquity. 5:2Or if any one touch any unclean thing, whether it be the carcase of an unclean beast, or the carcase of unclean cattle, or the carcase of an unclean crawling thing, and it be hid from him, he also is unclean and guilty; 5:3or if he touch the uncleanness of man, any uncleanness of him by which he is defiled, and it be hid from him, when he knoweth [it], then he is guilty. 5:4Or if any one swear, talking rashly with the lips, to do evil or to do good, in everything that a man shall say rashly with an oath, and it be hid from him, when he knoweth [it], then is he guilty in one of these. 5:5And it shall be, when he shall be guilty in one of these, that he shall confess wherein he hath sinned; 5:6and he shall bring his trespass-offering to Jehovah for his sin which he hath sinned, a female from the small cattle, a sheep or doe goat, for a sin-offering; and the priest shall make atonement for him [to cleanse him] from his sin. 5:7And if his hand be not able to bring what is so much as a sheep, then he shall bring for his trespass which he hath sinned two turtle-doves or two young pigeons, to Jehovah; one for a sin-offering, and the other for a burnt-offering. 5:8And he shall bring them unto the priest, who shall present that which is for the sin-offering first, and pinch off his head at the neck, but shall not divide it; 5:9and he shall sprinkle of the blood of the sin-offering on the wall of the altar; and the rest of the blood shall be wrung out at the bottom of the altar: it is a sin-offering. 5:10And he shall offer the other for a burnt-offering, according to the ordinance. And the priest shall make atonement for him [to cleanse him] from his sin which he hath sinned, and it shall be forgiven him. 5:11But if his hand cannot attain to two turtle-doves, or two young pigeons, then he that sinned shall bring for his offering the tenth part of an ephah of fine flour for a sin-offering: he shall put no oil on it, neither shall he put frankincense thereon; for it is a sin-offering. 5:12And he shall bring it to the priest, and the priest shall take his handful of it, the memorial thereof, and burn it on the altar, with Jehovah's offerings by fire: it is a sin-offering. 5:13And the priest shall make atonement for him concerning his sin which he hath sinned in one of these, and it shall be forgiven him; and it shall be the priest's, as the oblation. 5:14And Jehovah spoke to Moses, saying, 5:15If any one act unfaithfully and sin through inadvertence in the holy things of Jehovah, then he shall bring his trespass-offering to Jehovah, a ram without blemish out of the small cattle, according to thy valuation by shekels of silver, according to the shekel of the sanctuary, for a trespass-offering. 5:16And he shall make restitution for the wrong that he hath done in the holy things, and shall add the fifth part thereto, and shall give it unto the priest; and the priest shall make atonement for him with the ram of the trespass-offering, and it shall be forgiven him. 5:17And if any one sin and do against any of all the commandments of Jehovah what should not be done, and hath not known [it], yet is he guilty, and shall bear his iniquity. 5:18And he shall bring a ram without blemish out of the small cattle, according to thy valuation, as trespass-offering, unto the priest; and the priest shall make atonement for him concerning his inadvertence wherein he sinned inadvertently, and knew [it] not, and it shall be forgiven him. 5:19It is a trespass-offering: he hath certainly trespassed against Jehovah.
6:1And Jehovah spoke to Moses, saying, 6:2If any one sin and act unfaithfully against Jehovah, and lie to his neighbour as to an entrusted thing or a deposit or [that in which] he hath robbed or wronged his neighbour, 6:3or have found what was lost, and denieth it, and sweareth falsely in anything of all that man doeth, sinning therein; 6:4then it shall be, if he hath sinned and transgressed, that he shall restore what he robbed or that in which he hath defrauded, or the deposit, or the lost thing which he found, 6:5or all that about which he hath sworn falsely; and he shall restore it in the principal, and shall add the fifth part more thereto; to [him to] whom it belongeth shall he give it, on the day of his trespass-offering. 6:6And his trespass-offering shall he bring to Jehovah, a ram without blemish out of the small cattle according to thy valuation, as a trespass-offering, unto the priest. 6:7And the priest shall make atonement for him before Jehovah, and it shall be forgiven him concerning anything of all that he hath done so as to trespass therein. 6:8And Jehovah spoke to Moses, saying, 6:9Command Aaron and his sons, saying, This is the law of the burnt-offering; this, the burnt-offering, shall be on the hearth on the altar all night unto the morning, and the fire of the altar shall be kept burning on it. 6:10And the priest shall put on his linen raiment, and his linen breeches shall he put on his flesh, and take up the ashes to which the fire hath consumed the burnt-offering on the altar, and he shall put them beside the altar. 6:11And he shall put off his garments, and put on other garments, and carry forth the ashes without the camp unto a clean place. 6:12And the fire upon the altar shall be kept burning on it: it shall not be put out; and the priest shall burn wood on it every morning, and lay the burnt-offering in order upon it; and he shall burn thereon the fat of the peace-offerings. 6:13A continual fire shall be kept burning on the altar: it shall never go out. 6:14And this is the law of the oblation: [one of] the sons of Aaron shall present it before Jehovah, before the altar. 6:15And he shall take of it his handful of the fine flour of the oblation, and of the oil thereof, and all the frankincense which is on the meat-offering, and shall burn [it] on the altar: [it is] a sweet odour of the memorial thereof to Jehovah. 6:16And the remainder thereof shall Aaron and his sons eat: unleavened shall it be eaten in a holy place; in the court of the tent of meeting shall they eat it. 6:17It shall not be baken with leaven. As their portion have I given it [unto them] of my offerings by fire: it is most holy; as the sin-offering, and as the trespass-offering. 6:18All the males among the children of Aaron shall eat of it. [It is] an everlasting statute in your generations, [their portion] of Jehovah's offerings by fire: whatever toucheth these shall be holy. 6:19And Jehovah spoke to Moses, saying, 6:20This is the offering of Aaron and of his sons, which they shall present to Jehovah on the day when he is anointed: the tenth part of an ephah of fine flour as a continual oblation, half of it in the morning, and half thereof at night. 6:21It shall be prepared in the pan with oil: saturated with oil shalt thou bring it: baken pieces of the oblation shalt thou present [for] a sweet odour to Jehovah. 6:22And the priest who is anointed of his sons in his stead shall prepare it: [it is] an everlasting statute; it shall be wholly burned to Jehovah. 6:23And every oblation of the priest shall be wholly burned; it shall not be eaten. 6:24And Jehovah spoke to Moses, saying, 6:25Speak unto Aaron and to his sons, saying, This is the law of the sin-offering. At the place where the burnt-offering is slaughtered shall the sin-offering be slaughtered before Jehovah: it is most holy. 6:26The priest that offereth it for sin shall eat it: in a holy place shall it be eaten, in the court of the tent of meeting. 6:27Everything that toucheth the flesh thereof shall be holy; and if there be splashed of the blood thereof on a garment that whereon it is sprinkled shalt thou wash in a holy place. 6:28And the earthen vessel wherein it hath been sodden shall be broken; and if it have been sodden in a copper pot, it shall be both scoured and rinsed with water. 6:29All the males among the priests shall eat thereof: it is most holy. 6:30And no sin-offering whereof blood hath been brought to the tent of meeting, to make atonement in the sanctuary, shall be eaten: it shall be burned with fire.
7:1And this is the law of the trespass-offering it is most holy: 7:2in the place where they slaughter the burnt-offering shall they slaughter the trespass-offering; and the blood thereof shall he sprinkle on the altar round about. 7:3And he shall present of it all the fat thereof; the fat tail and the fat that covereth the inwards, 7:4and the two kidneys, and the fat that is on them, which is by the flanks, and the net above the liver, which he shall take away as far as the kidneys. 7:5And the priest shall burn them on the altar, an offering by fire to Jehovah: it is a trespass-offering. 7:6Every male among the priests shall eat thereof; in a holy place shall it be eaten: it is most holy. 7:7As the sin-offering, so is the trespass-offering; [there shall] be one law for them: it shall be the priest's who maketh atonement therewith. 7:8And [as to] the priest that presenteth any man's burnt-offering, the skin of the burnt-offering which he hath presented shall be the priest's for himself. 7:9And every oblation that is baken in the oven, and all that is prepared in the cauldron and in the pan, shall be the priest's who offereth it; to him it shall belong. 7:10And every oblation, mingled with oil, and dry, shall all the sons of Aaron have, one as the other. 7:11And this is the law of the sacrifice of peace-offering, which [a man] shall present to Jehovah. 7:12If he present it for a thanksgiving, then he shall present with the sacrifice of thanksgiving unleavened cakes mingled with oil, and unleavened wafers anointed with oil, and fine flour saturated with oil, cakes mingled with oil. 7:13Besides the cakes, he shall present his offering of leavened bread with the sacrifice of his peace-offering of thanksgiving. 7:14And of it he shall present one out of the whole offering as a heave-offering to Jehovah; to the priest that sprinkleth the blood of the peace-offering, to him it shall belong. 7:15And the flesh of the sacrifice of his peace-offering of thanksgiving shall be eaten the same day that it is presented; he shall not let any of it remain until the morning. 7:16And if the sacrifice of his offering be a vow, or voluntary, it shall be eaten the same day that he presented his sacrifice; on the morrow also the remainder of it shall be eaten; 7:17and the remainder of the flesh of the sacrifice on the third day shall be burned with fire. 7:18And if [any] of the flesh of the sacrifice of his peace-offering be eaten at all on the third day, it shall not be accepted, it shall not be reckoned to him that hath presented it; it shall be an unclean thing, and the soul that eateth of it shall bear his iniquity. 7:19And the flesh that toucheth anything unclean shall not be eaten; it shall be burned with fire. And as to the flesh, all that are clean may eat [the] flesh. 7:20But the soul that eateth the flesh of the sacrifice of peace-offering which is for Jehovah, having his uncleanness upon him, that soul shall be cut off from his peoples. 7:21And if any one touch anything unclean, the uncleanness of man, or unclean beast, or any unclean abomination, and eat of the flesh of the sacrifice of peace-offering, which is for Jehovah, that soul shall be cut off from his peoples. 7:22And Jehovah spoke to Moses, saying, 7:23Speak unto the children of Israel, saying, No fat, of ox, or of sheep, or of goat shall ye eat. 7:24But the fat of a dead carcase, and the fat of that which is torn, may be used in any other use; but ye shall in no wise eat it. 7:25For whoever eateth the fat of the beast of which men present an offering by fire to Jehovah, the soul that hath eaten shall be cut off from his peoples. 7:26And no blood shall ye eat in any of your dwellings, whether it be of fowl or of cattle. 7:27Whatever soul it be that eateth any manner of blood, that soul shall be cut off from his peoples. 7:28And Jehovah spoke to Moses, saying, 7:29Speak unto the children of Israel, saying, He that presenteth the sacrifice of his peace-offering to Jehovah shall bring his offering to Jehovah of the sacrifice of his peace-offering. 7:30His own hands shall bring Jehovah's offerings by fire, the fat with the breast shall he bring: the breast, that it may be waved as a wave-offering before Jehovah. 7:31And the priest shall burn the fat on the altar; and the breast shall be Aaron's and his sons'. 7:32And the right shoulder of the sacrifices of your peace-offerings shall ye give as a heave-offering unto the priest. 7:33He of the sons of Aaron that presenteth the blood of the peace-offerings, and the fat, shall have the right shoulder for [his] part. 7:34For the breast of the wave-offering, and the shoulder of the heave-offering, have I taken of the children of Israel from the sacrifices of their peace-offerings, and have given them unto Aaron the priest and unto his sons from the children of Israel by an everlasting statute. 7:35This is [the portion] of the anointing of Aaron and of the anointing of his sons, from Jehovah's offerings by fire, in the day [when] he presented them to serve Jehovah as priests, 7:36which Jehovah commanded to be given them by the children of Israel in the day that he anointed them: [it is] an everlasting statute, throughout their generations. 7:37This is the law of the burnt-offering, of the oblation, and of the sin-offering, and of the trespass-offering, and of the consecration-offering, and of the sacrifice of peace-offering, 7:38which Jehovah commanded Moses in mount Sinai, in the day that he commanded the children of Israel to present their offerings to Jehovah, in the wilderness of Sinai.
8:1And Jehovah spoke to Moses, saying, 8:2Take Aaron and his sons with him, and the garments and the anointing oil, and the bullock of the sin-offering, and the two rams, and the basket of unleavened [bread]; 8:3and gather all the assembly together at the entrance of the tent of meeting. 8:4And Moses did as Jehovah had commanded him; and the assembly was collected at the entrance of the tent of meeting. 8:5And Moses said to the assembly, This is the thing which Jehovah has commanded to be done. 8:6And Moses brought Aaron near, and his sons, and bathed them with water. 8:7And he put upon him the vest and girded him with the girdle, and clothed him with the cloak, and put the ephod on him, and he girded him with the girdle of the ephod, and fastened the ephod on him. 8:8And he put the breastplate on it, and put on the breastplate the Urim and the Thummim; 8:9and he put the turban upon his head; and upon the turban, on the front of it, he put the golden plate, the holy diadem; as Jehovah had commanded Moses. 8:10And Moses took the anointing oil, and anointed the tabernacle and all that was in it, and hallowed them. 8:11And he sprinkled thereof on the altar seven times, and anointed the altar and all its utensils, and the laver and its stand, to hallow them. 8:12And he poured of the anointing oil on Aaron's head, and anointed him, to hallow him. 8:13And Moses brought Aaron's sons near and clothed them with the vests, and girded them with the girdles, and bound the high caps on them, as Jehovah had commanded Moses. 8:14And he brought near the bullock for the sin-offering; and Aaron and his sons laid their hands on the head of the bullock for the sin-offering; 8:15and he slaughtered [it], and Moses took the blood, and put [it] on the horns of the altar round about with his finger, and cleansed the altar from sin, and the blood he poured at the bottom of the altar, and hallowed it, making atonement for it. 8:16And he took all the fat that was on the inwards, and the net of the liver, and the two kidneys, and their fat, and Moses burned [them] on the altar. 8:17And the bullock, and its skin, and its flesh, and its dung he burned with fire outside the camp, as Jehovah had commanded Moses. 8:18And he presented the ram of the burnt-offering; and Aaron and his sons laid their hands on the head of the ram; 8:19and he slaughtered [it]; and Moses sprinkled the blood on the altar round about. 8:20And the ram he cut up into its pieces; and Moses burned the head, and the pieces, and the fat; 8:21and the inwards and the legs he washed in water; and Moses burned the whole ram on the altar: it was a burnt-offering for a sweet odour, it was an offering by fire to Jehovah; as Jehovah had commanded Moses. 8:22And he presented the second ram, the ram of consecration; and Aaron and his sons laid their hands on the head of the ram; 8:23and one slaughtered [it]; and Moses took of its blood, and put [it] on the tip of Aaron's right ear, and on the thumb of his right hand, and on the great toe of his right foot; 8:24and he brought Aaron's sons near, and Moses put of the blood on the tip of their right ear, and on the thumb of their right hand, and on the great toe of their right foot; and Moses sprinkled the blood upon the altar round about. 8:25And he took the fat, and the fat tail, and all the fat that was on the inwards, and the net of the liver, and the two kidneys and their fat, and the right shoulder; 8:26and out of the basket of unleavened bread that was before Jehovah he took one unleavened cake, and a cake of oiled bread, and one wafer, and put them on the fat and upon the right shoulder; 8:27and he gave all into Aaron's hands, and into his sons' hands, and waved them as a wave-offering before Jehovah. 8:28And Moses took them from off their hands, and burned [them] on the altar, over the burnt-offering: they were a consecration-offering for a sweet odour: it was an offering by fire to Jehovah. 8:29And Moses took the breast, and waved it as a wave-offering before Jehovah; of the ram of consecration it was Moses' part; as Jehovah had commanded Moses. 8:30And Moses took of the anointing oil, and of the blood that was on the altar, and sprinkled [it] on Aaron, on his garments, and on his sons, and on his sons' garments with him; and hallowed Aaron, his garments, and his sons, and his sons' garments with him. 8:31And Moses spoke to Aaron and to his sons, Boil the flesh at the entrance of the tent of meeting; and there eat it and the bread that is in the basket of the consecration-offering, as I commanded, saying, Aaron and his sons shall eat it. 8:32And that which remaineth of the flesh and of the bread shall ye burn with fire. 8:33And ye shall not go out from the entrance of the tent of meeting seven days, until the day when the days of your consecration are at an end: for seven days shall ye be consecrated. 8:34As he hath done this day, [so] Jehovah hath commanded to do, to make atonement for you. 8:35And ye shall abide at the entrance of the tent of meeting day and night seven days, and keep the charge of Jehovah, that ye die not; for so I am commanded. 8:36And Aaron and his sons did all things that Jehovah had commanded by the hand of Moses.
9:1And it came to pass on the eighth day, [that] Moses called Aaron and his sons, and the elders of Israel, 9:2and said to Aaron, Take thee a young calf for a sin-offering, and a ram for a burnt-offering, without blemish, and present [them] before Jehovah; 9:3and to the children of Israel shalt thou speak, saying, Take a buck of the goats for a sin-offering, and a calf and a lamb, yearlings, without blemish, for a burnt-offering; 9:4and a bullock and a ram for a peace-offering, to sacrifice before Jehovah; and an oblation mingled with oil; for to-day Jehovah will appear to you. 9:5And they brought what Moses commanded before the tent of meeting; and all the assembly approached and stood before Jehovah. 9:6And Moses said, This is the thing which Jehovah has commanded that ye should do; and the glory of Jehovah shall appear to you. 9:7And Moses said unto Aaron, Go to the altar, and offer thy sin-offering, and thy burnt-offering, and make atonement for thyself, and for the people; and offer the offering of the people, and make atonement for them, as Jehovah has commanded. 9:8And Aaron went to the altar and slaughtered the calf of the sin-offering which was for himself; 9:9and the sons of Aaron presented the blood to him, and he dipped his finger in the blood, and put [it] on the horns of the altar, and poured out the blood at the bottom of the altar. 9:10And the fat, and the kidneys, and the net above the liver, of the sin-offering, he burned on the altar, as Jehovah had commanded Moses. 9:11And the flesh and the skin he burned with fire outside the camp. 9:12And he slaughtered the burnt-offering; and Aaron's sons delivered to him the blood, which he sprinkled on the altar round about. 9:13And they delivered the burnt-offering to him, in the pieces thereof, and the head; and he burned [them] on the altar. 9:14And he washed the inwards and the legs, and burned [them] upon the burnt-offering, on the altar. 9:15And he presented the people's offering, and took the goat of the sin-offering which was for the people and slaughtered it, and offered it for sin, as the first. 9:16And he presented the burnt-offering and offered it according to the ordinance. 9:17And he presented the oblation, and took a handful of it, and burned it on the altar, besides the burnt-offering of the morning. 9:18And he slaughtered the bullock and the ram of the sacrifice of peace-offering which was for the people. And Aaron's sons delivered to him the blood, and he sprinkled it on the altar round about; 9:19and the pieces of fat of the bullock and of the ram, the fat tail and what covers [the inwards], and the kidneys, and the net of the liver; 9:20and they put the pieces of fat on the breast-pieces, and he burned the pieces of fat on the altar; 9:21and the breast-pieces and the right shoulder Aaron waved as a wave-offering before Jehovah, as Moses had commanded. 9:22And Aaron lifted up his hands toward the people and blessed them, and came down after the offering of the sin-offering, and the burnt-offering, and the peace-offering. 9:23And Moses and Aaron went into the tent of meeting, and came out and blessed the people; and the glory of Jehovah appeared to all the people. 9:24And there went out fire from before Jehovah, and consumed on the altar the burnt-offering, and the pieces of fat; and all the people saw it, and they shouted, and fell on their face.
10:1And the sons of Aaron, Nadab and Abihu, took each of them his censer, and put fire in it, and put incense on it, and presented strange fire before Jehovah, which he had not commanded them. 10:2And there went out fire from before Jehovah, and devoured them, and they died before Jehovah. 10:3And Moses said to Aaron, This is what Jehovah spoke, saying, I will be hallowed in them that come near me, and before all the people I will be glorified. And Aaron was silent. 10:4And Moses called Mishael and Elzaphan, the sons of Uzziel the uncle of Aaron, and said to them, Come near, carry your brethren from before the sanctuary out of the camp. 10:5And they went near, and carried them in their vests out of the camp, as Moses had said. 10:6And Moses said to Aaron, and to Eleazar and to Ithamar his sons, Your heads shall ye not uncover, neither rend your clothes; lest ye die, and lest wrath come on all the assembly; but your brethren, the whole house of Israel, shall bewail the burning which Jehovah hath kindled. 10:7And ye shall not go out from the entrance of the tent of meeting, lest ye die; for the anointing oil of Jehovah is upon you. And they did according to the word of Moses. 10:8And Jehovah spoke to Aaron, saying, 10:9Thou shalt not drink wine nor strong drink, thou, and thy sons with thee, when ye go into the tent of meeting, lest ye die [it is] an everlasting statute throughout your generations, 10:10that ye may put difference between the holy and the unholy, and between unclean and clean, 10:11and that ye may teach the children of Israel all the statutes which Jehovah hath spoken to them by the hand of Moses. 10:12And Moses spoke to Aaron, and to Eleazar and to Ithamar, his sons that were left, Take the oblation that is left of Jehovah's offerings by fire, and eat it with unleavened bread beside the altar; for it is most holy. 10:13And ye shall eat it in a holy place, because it is thy due, and thy sons' due, of Jehovah's offerings by fire; for so I am commanded. 10:14And the breast of the wave-offering, and the shoulder of the heave-offering shall ye eat in a clean place, thou, and thy sons, and thy daughters with thee; for [as] thy due, and thy sons' due, are they given of the sacrifices of peace-offerings of the children of Israel. 10:15The shoulder of the heave-offering and the breast of the wave-offering shall they bring, with the fire-offering of the pieces of fat, to wave [them] as a wave-offering before Jehovah; and they shall be thine, and thy sons' with thee, for an everlasting statute, as Jehovah has commanded. 10:16And Moses diligently sought the goat of the sin-offering, and behold, it was burnt up: then he was wroth with Eleazar and Ithamar, the sons of Aaron that were left, saying, 10:17Why have ye not eaten the sin-offering in a holy place? for it is most holy, and he has given it to you that ye might bear the iniquity of the assembly, to make atonement for them before Jehovah. 10:18Lo, its blood was not brought in within the sanctuary: ye should certainly have eaten it in the sanctuary, as I commanded. 10:19And Aaron said to Moses, Behold, to-day have they presented their sin-offering and their burnt-offering before Jehovah; and such things have befallen me; and had I to-day eaten the sin-offering, would it have been good in the sight of Jehovah? 10:20And Moses heard it; and it was good in his sight.
11:1And Jehovah spoke to Moses and to Aaron, saying to them, 11:2Speak unto the children of Israel, saying, These are the animals which ye shall eat of all the beasts which are on the earth. 11:3Whatever hath cloven hoofs, and feet quite split open, and cheweth the cud, among the beasts that shall ye eat. 11:4Only these shall ye not eat of those that chew the cud, or of those with cloven hoofs: the camel, for it cheweth the cud, but hath not cloven hoofs it shall be unclean unto you; 11:5and the rock-badger, for it cheweth the cud, but hath not cloven hoofs it shall be unclean unto you; 11:6and the hare, for it cheweth the cud, but hath not cloven hoofs it shall be unclean unto you; 11:7and the swine, for it hath cloven hoofs, and feet quite split open, but it cheweth not the cud it shall be unclean unto you. 11:8Of their flesh shall ye not eat, and their carcase shall ye not touch: they shall be unclean unto you. 11:9These shall ye eat of all that are in the waters: whatever hath fins and scales in waters, in seas and in rivers, these shall ye eat; 11:10but all that have not fins and scales in seas and in rivers, of all that swarm in the waters, and of every living soul which is in the waters they shall be an abomination unto you. 11:11They shall be even an abomination unto you: of their flesh shall ye not eat, and their carcase ye shall have in abomination. 11:12Whatever in the waters hath no fins and scales, that shall be an abomination unto you. 11:13And these shall ye have in abomination of the fowls; they shall not be eaten; an abomination shall they be: the eagle, and the ossifrage, and the sea-eagle, 11:14and the falcon, and the kite, after its kind; 11:15every raven after its kind; 11:16and the female ostrich and the male ostrich, and the sea-gull, and the hawk, after its kind; 11:17and the owl, and the gannet, and the ibis, 11:18and the swan, and the pelican, and the carrion vulture, 11:19and the stork; the heron after its kind, and the hoopoe, and the bat. 11:20Every winged crawling thing that goeth upon all four shall be an abomination unto you. 11:21Yet these shall ye eat of every winged crawling thing that goeth upon all four: those which have legs above their feet with which to leap upon the earth. 11:22These shall ye eat of them: the arbeh after its kind, and the solam after its kind, and the hargol after its kind, and the hargab after its kind. 11:23But every winged crawling thing that hath four feet shall be an abomination unto you. 11:24And by these ye shall make yourselves unclean; whoever toucheth their carcase shall be unclean until the even. 11:25And whoever carrieth [ought] of their carcase shall wash his garments, and be unclean until the even. 11:26Every beast that hath cloven hoofs, but not feet quite split open, nor cheweth the cud, shall be unclean unto you: every one that toucheth them shall be unclean. 11:27And whatever goeth on its paws, among all manner of beasts that go upon all four, those are unclean unto you: whoever toucheth their carcase shall be unclean until the even. 11:28And he that carrieth their carcase shall wash his garments, and be unclean until the even: they shall be unclean unto you. 11:29And these shall be unclean unto you among the crawling things which crawl on the earth: the mole, and the field-mouse, and the lizard, after its kind; 11:30and the groaning lizard, and the great red lizard, and the climbing lizard, and the chomet, and the chameleon. 11:31These shall be unclean unto you among all that crawl: whoever toucheth them when they are dead, shall be unclean until the even. 11:32And on whatever any of them when they are dead doth fall, it shall be unclean; all vessels of wood, or garment, or skin, or sack, every vessel wherewith work is done it shall be put into water, and be unclean until the even; then shall it be clean. 11:33And every earthen vessel into which [any] of them falleth whatever is in it shall be unclean; and ye shall break it. 11:34All food that is eaten on which [such] water hath come shall be unclean; and all drink that is drunk shall be unclean, in every [such] vessel. 11:35And everything where upon [any part] of their carcase falleth shall be unclean; oven and hearth shall be broken down: they are unclean, and shall be unclean unto you. 11:36Nevertheless, a spring or a well, a quantity of water, shall be clean. But he that toucheth their carcase shall be unclean. 11:37And if any part of their carcase fall upon any sowing-seed which is to be sown, it shall be clean; 11:38but if water have been put on the seed, and any part of their carcase fall thereon, it shall be unclean unto you. 11:39And if any beast which is to you for food die, he that toucheth the carcase thereof shall be unclean until the even. 11:40And he that eateth of its carcase shall wash his garments, and be unclean until the even: he also that carrieth its carcase shall wash his garments, and be unclean until the even. 11:41And every crawling thing which crawleth on the earth shall be an abomination; it shall not be eaten. 11:42Whatever goeth on the belly, and whatever goeth on all four, and all that have a great many feet, of every manner of crawling thing which crawleth on the earth these ye shall not eat; for they are an abomination. 11:43Ye shall not make yourselves abominable through any crawling thing which crawleth, neither shall ye make yourselves unclean with them, that ye should be defiled thereby. 11:44For I am Jehovah your God; and ye shall hallow yourselves, and ye shall be holy; for I am holy; and ye shall not make yourselves unclean through any manner of crawling thing which creepeth on the earth. 11:45For I am Jehovah who brought you up out of the land of Egypt, to be your God: ye shall therefore be holy, for I am holy. 11:46This is the law of cattle, and of fowl, and of every living soul that moveth in the waters, and of every soul that crawleth on the earth; 11:47to make a difference between the unclean and the clean, and between the beast that is to be eaten and the beast that is not to be eaten.
12:1And Jehovah spoke to Moses, saying, 12:2Speak unto the children of Israel, saying, If a woman conceive seed, and bear a male, then she shall be unclean seven days; as in the days of the separation of her infirmity shall she be unclean. 12:3And on the eighth day shall the flesh of his foreskin be circumcised. 12:4And she shall continue thirty-three days in the blood of her cleansing; no holy thing shall she touch, nor come into the sanctuary, until the days of her cleansing are fulfilled. 12:5And if she bear a female, then she shall be unclean two weeks, as in her separation; and she shall continue sixty-six days in the blood of her cleansing. 12:6And when the days of her cleansing are fulfilled, for a son or for a daughter, she shall bring a yearling lamb for a burnt-offering, and a young pigeon or a turtle-dove for a sin-offering, to the entrance of the tent of meeting, unto the priest. 12:7And he shall present it before Jehovah, and make atonement for her; and she shall be clean from the flux of her blood. This is the law for her that hath borne a male or a female. 12:8And if her hand cannot find what is sufficient for a sheep, she shall bring two turtle-doves or two young pigeons; one for a burnt-offering, and the other for a sin-offering; and the priest shall make atonement for her; and she shall be clean.
